Fellfarers took advantage of the longer evenings and had a walk up Winder in the Howgill Fells on Tuesday May 12th. Starting at Joss Lane car park, 13 members and friends walked up Settleback Gill and onto the ridge, and into the wind! Then back onto Winder and a 30 minute wait - but it was well worth it as the sunset over the Lakes Fells was glorious.

The Spring Bank Holiday week saw some 10 members of the club camping at Clacktoll just outside Lochinver in the Assynt region of Sutherland. A week of windy and claggy weather saw a mixed bag of activities including ascents of Stac Poly, Canisp, and Quinag (all 3 summits); paddling on various lochs; and visits to the Summer Isles.
